Nutrients In Potato

Potatoes contain calcium, phosphorus, protein, potassium, sulphur, copper,and iron in good amounts. It contains a little Vitamin A and is high in Vitamin C.

Removing potato skin removes some vitamins that are just beneath it. Also it is better to use the water that has been used to boil potatoes as it contains some vitamins and minerals. It can be used to make pulses or cook vegetables.
